What LangFi collects

LangFi may collect account, session, device, and usage information needed to run the product. For the Chrome extension, this can include X usernames, profile page context, extension session state, and requests made to the LangFi API.

How the Chrome extension works

The extension runs on x.com to render Smart Followers and related profile intelligence directly on X profile pages. It may read the current page context to determine which X account is being viewed, then request relevant data from the LangFi API.

Session and authentication data

If you sign in, LangFi stores session and refresh tokens locally in browser extension storage so you can remain authenticated between sessions. We also store temporary challenge state and runtime endpoint configuration needed to complete extension sign-in.

How LangFi uses data

We use collected data to:

• render Smart Followers and account intelligence in the extension,
• authenticate users and maintain extension sessions,
• operate, secure, and improve the website, extension, and API, and
• monitor product usage and diagnose reliability issues.

Data sharing

LangFi does not sell personal data. We may share data with infrastructure and service providers that help us operate the website, API, authentication flows, analytics, and hosting, but only as needed to provide the service.

Advertising

LangFi does not use extension data for personalized advertising and does not sell extension user data to data brokers.

Data retention

We retain data only for as long as needed to operate the service, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Extension session data stored on your device can be removed by signing out or uninstalling the extension.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices

You can choose whether to sign in, remove stored extension session data by signing out, and stop future extension data processing by uninstalling the extension.
